A year after graduating from university, Marcus has just come out as a trans man to his family and one of his old roommates, Erin.

Finding that he needs some space to figure things out, he decides to spend a week downtown to work on his transition. The next step? Coming out to his old friends online.

---

Marcus Comes Out Online is a visual novel. Join Marcus for a day as he figures out his transition for the first time: coming out on social media, figuring out paperwork, and exploring the city.

One ending, about 20 minutes for a playthrough.

The game is free, but if you pay $3 or more you can support me as a creator and get a digital art collection containing the art from the game, sketches, and author's notes.

---

This game is part of a two-game series. Play the standalone sequel:
Peyton's Post-Op Visits

---

Content Notice: This game involves issues that trans men and trans-masculine people might face, which is a topic that can be sensitive and personal.

I THINK........ The writing is so freaking good here..... The scenario here is presented in such a fricking powerful way!!!!!!! The coffee scene in particular just kinda... made me tear up, pff. BEANDESTROYER IS THE BESTEST FRIEND WE COULD EVER HOPE FOR.... AND AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH???????????? It's really delightful. I super love it...!! One little detail I super liked was, going through the chat history of other people online, even if it's relatively irrelevant to the conversation at hand... It just adds an incredibly nice layer to the top of the writing that I freaking love!!

And again, it's... really well written too!! I... really appreciate it being real with how it feels like to come out, when you're socially connected. The highs, the lows, the middle road "that's cool"s... It all just feels, very real. It's exceptionally well-executed... The last scene in particular was just.... SO GOOD AAAAA....!!

Thank you for making this!!!

I'm blind it took me 2 years to learn how to use my devices independently. I love gaming but often there's not any or many accessible games I can find and play. I found this game underneath the blind accessibility filter on itch.io was just wondering since it doesn't say anywhere if there's  accessibility options on the game after you download it? 100% OK if there's not but I just wanted to ask before downloading. Even if it's not accessible I'll look for a let's play of it on YouTube so I can experience it that way as well. The game sounds amazing and I definitely do want to play or experience it in some way. Please reply when you can. Thank You! I'm LGBTQ+ and would love to experience this game in some way. I just commented pretty much this exact comment on Peyton's Post-OP visit game as well. Wanted to inquire about the accessibility on this game as well. Because I'd love to experience both games.

Hit "v" and it should turn on self-voicing!

Thank you for your help! I genuinely do appreciate it.

All of my games that are under the blind accessibility filter have accessibility options in the game after downloading! You can press the keyboard letter V to toggle self-voicing, and right after starting the game, it will ask if you are interested in image and sound captions.

If there are any issues with the captions or self-voicing in any of my games, please feel free to let me know, and I'll see what I can do what I can to fix it.

By the way, pressing the keyboard letter V to toggle self-voicing should work in any visual novel which is created with Ren'Py, and many creators do tag their games for Ren'Py. Just keep in mind that not all Ren'Py games are designed to work properly with self-voicing.

thank you for your interest in my games!!

Thank you for replying! And for explaining your accessibility options. I also appreciate you telling me that for some Ren'Py games self-voicing is an option. I'll be sure to definitely ask any Ren'Py creator if their game does have self-voicing just in case the game isn't designed with self-voicing. I do appreciate your help and tip. I'll definitely let you know if I have any issues with your games. Excited to play your games.
